Not supported
Profile pages, Stories, Explore, hashtag pages, and private or restricted posts cannot be resolved by this tool.

Each Instagram URL type needs a different check before you paste it. These are the downloads this tool can actually complete.
Download Instagram Reels
Open the Reel, tap Share, then Copy link. A working Reel URL contains /reel/ or /reels/ plus the Reel ID, such as instagram.com/reel/ABC123xyz/. Paste that link in the downloader above. Public Reels return the MP4 Instagram exposes for that ID. A profile URL, Explore page, or Story is not a Reel link and will not download.
Download Instagram videos from posts
Feed videos use /p/ links, such as instagram.com/p/ABC123xyz/. Copy that post URL from Share or from the browser address bar. Do not paste the profile URL (instagram.com/username). The post must include a video. A photo-only post has no file to save, so the tool stops instead of returning an empty download.
Download Instagram carousel videos
A carousel can mix photos and videos under one /p/ link. This downloader saves the public video Instagram exposes for that post. It does not zip every slide or turn still photos into a video. If every slide is a photo, the download fails because Instagram did not attach a video file.
Download IGTV and Instagram TV videos
Longer public videos shared with a /tv/ URL can be saved when Instagram still exposes the file and the video stays under 500 MB and 60 minutes. Copy the /tv/ link itself. A channel or profile page is not a single-video download.
How to download Instagram videos

Open the public Reel, post, or TV item and copy a URL that includes /reel/, /reels/, /p/, or /tv/.

Instagram video download quality
The MP4 is the public file Instagram attaches to that Reel, post, carousel, or TV URL. Searches for an HD or no-watermark Instagram downloader usually expect a hidden higher file. This tool does not upscale video or remove a watermark.
- Saves the MP4 Instagram already serves for that public media ID.
- Does not unlock a higher resolution than the public page exposes.
- If Instagram serves a watermarked stream, that watermark stays in the file. This page does not strip it.
Instagram Video Downloader for iPhone, Android, and PC
The same paste-and-download flow works in a mobile or desktop browser. Instagram Stories and videos that only play inside the app are still unsupported.
- iPhone and Android: copy the link from Instagram’s share sheet, then paste it in Safari or Chrome.

Common blocks
Why an Instagram video may not download
Most failures are Instagram access or URL issues—not a broken paste field. Check these before retrying.
Private or restricted account
Media that requires a follow, login, or age gate is not exposed to public-link downloaders.
Wrong URL type
Profile, Stories, Explore, and hashtag URLs are not valid targets. Use a single /reel/, /reels/, /p/, or /tv/ link.
Carousel with photos only
A public /p/ post can be photo-only. If there is no video asset, the tool correctly returns no downloadable file.
Rate limiting
Too many requests from one connection can trigger a temporary block. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Size or duration limits
Online downloads stop above 500 MB or 60 minutes. Shorter public Reels and posts are the best fit.
